The purpose of this site is to provide information to members, visitors, guests, employees and public of the Ft. McDowell Yavapai Nation the location of sex offenders within the Ft. McDowell Yavapai Nation (Nation). On April 19, 2011, the Nation passed the Tribal Sex Offender Registration Code, which was effective immediately. As part of the passage of Tribal Sex Offender Registration Code(Resolution No. Ft. McDowell 2011-18) and in compliance with Adam Walsh Child Protection and Safety Act that was passed by Congress, this website was established. This site is not intended to supplant the community notification process but to allow for public awareness concerning the potential threat that sex offenders pose to the public within this Nation.

Hopefully this site will assist and empower the public to obtain and gather necessary information that will allow for a more informed decision on what precautionary measure to take. Providing the public with information regarding convicted sex offenders within the Nation is a critical step towards encouraging the public to protect themselves from potential future acts and educate the public on the possible presence of such offenders in the Nation.
